The Native American Education Program serves to embolden and support our Native American
youth while understanding that to honor and preserve cultural values is to also support the
comprehensive and academic success of our Native American students.

In order to qualify for our Native American Education Program, students will need to have a 506 form filled out and on file which is held confidentially in our school records. These forms allow our district to obtain more funding for our Native American Education program and allow uis to better serve our Native American Students.

The Native American Parent Advisory Committee is an organized group of parents, students and district staff who meet several times per year in order to discuss the direction and priorities of Native American Education for our school district as well as the services offered within our Native American Education Program.
The parents and students in our program serve as advocates and a valued voice by:
During our meetings we often provide various cultural activities, academic resources and information on upcoming events and services offered within the Native American Education Program.
