8:00am – 4:30pm
Six elementary schools within the Brainerd School District serve students in grades K – 4. The student is enrolled into a particular school based on the legal address of the Parent/Guardian.
To Enroll a Student in Grades K-12
- A parent or guardian needs to enroll a new student
- A copy of the immunization records is needed
- A copy of the birth certificate, passport or other similar identification form is needed
- Early Childhood Screening is required for entrance into Kindergarten
It is a state law that children be screened before kindergarten. This screening provides an opportunity for children and their parents to participate in a health and developmental screening. Identifying potential problems or concerns early allows time for intervention during the critical formative years. Your child will be registered for kindergarten at the same time he or she is screened. If your child is three years old or older, call the Early Childhood Center to set up an appointment. 218-454-5430 Appointments are scheduled throughout the school year.
